“Illustrator, painter and author”
Restless creator in love with colors.
She was born and raised in Vitoria between crayons, tempera paints and colored pencils, where he studied the Higher Degree in Decoration.
Years later he moved to France where he studied the Diploma in Information and Communication Technologies at the Toulouse Le Mirail University.
Later, she left France and settled in Dos Hermanas, Seville, where she continued developing her career as an illustrator and designer, specializing in the field of Graphic and Digital Design with a Postgraduate Degree in Advanced Design and Print Production.
She likes lights and shadows, colors that convey joy and serenity, playing with silences and noises in illustrations and different challenges in each project. In love with the print design that she applies to each illustration.
To date, she has published thirty pictures books with publishers Spanish, English, South Korean, New Zealand and North American. The rights to her books have been sold in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, South Korea, France, Greece, Germany, China, Turkey… She has also worked on a multitude of textbooks with publishers such as Edelvives, Santillana, SM, etc.
• Winner in 2016 of the award to the best illustrations for poetry at BookILL Fest, Serbia.
• And selected, among others, 3 consecutive years in Sharjah International Book Fair, United Arab Emirates.
• Finalist in the Euskadi Literary Awards and participant in numerous group exhibitions.
• Winner of the IV Algar Prize for Children’s Literature, in the Story category.
• Jury in Illustration Awards such as the 2nd International Prize for Illustrated Fantasy and Science Fiction Albums “Elia Barceló” from Premium Publishing. And in the 11th Children’s Book Illustration Exhibition in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
While illustrating albums for children, she enjoys teaching University Extension Courses on Children’s Illustration and Print Design at the University of Fine Arts of Seville and at her Infinito Art Studio.
